How To Teach Mozart Rondo alla turca
Today we're talking about the very famous Rondo alla turca from Mozart’s Sonata in A Major, K.331. Since this piece is on the list of “most requested” piano pieces by students, it’s included in my newest resource, Not Ready Yet.
Every piano teacher has experienced students asking to play pieces that are too hard for them. The good news is that these students have heard these classics and want to play them. The bad news is that they aren’t ready, technically or musically. What is one to do?
